Photo Walk to da Burger Joint

Advertisements are not what they seem because they try to make them look the best when they put them up so more people will go to buy them.

Surealistic Photography

Folding Clothes             Ranceypants

This art was inspired by Erik Johansson. It is made up of two photos, and I just cut out my feet and my body to fit into the ironed pants. This took a few times to shoot so I was getting nervous that I wasn't going to be able to pull it off. I really think I was able to pull it off in the end though and it looks really cool.

Surealism Photographers

Erik Johansson was born in 1985 outside a small town called Gotene in the middle of Sweeden. In 2005 he moved to Gothenburg to study Computer engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. In 2011 he also started doing photography street illusions.

Max Klinger was born in 1857 and died in 1920. He  was one of the last great artist princes of the late 19th and 20t h centuries. In 1874 he began his studies at the Grand Ducal Baden Art School.

Erik Johansson

Face Fist

2010

Description: Shows a man punching his own face and it is crumbling like a paper bag.

Analysis: The subject is not in the center of the photo which makes it so we focus on it more.

Interpretation: I think he is regretting or trying to forget something that he did.

Judgment: I think that this piece was very successful and was really funny to look at.

Max Klinger

Gloves

1914

Description: Shows a random face with a tennis ball and a pair of gloves.

Analysis: The three subject of the painting are all random things and neither of them are in the center of it.

Interpretation: I think the artist is trying to show that he loves art, that he plays tennis and that he likes to garden.

Judgment: I think it was successful because its funny how it is just a bunch of random things.

Artistic Inspirations

Garry Winogrand          "Central Park Zoo, New York, 1967
I chose this because I thought it was cool that they just had monkeys that's were dressed up in their hands.

Anne Geddes              "Under the Sea" 2015

I chose this because I thought it was funny that there heads just popped up out of nowhere.
Elliot Erwitt     "USA, New York City" 1991

I chose this picture because I like dogs and this dog was cute and funny looking.
Patrick Dermarchelier    "Vogue Russia" 2011

I chose this because I thought it was funny how the lady looked like a crab in the left photo and in the right photo she's just floating there.
Robert Doisneau  "Le Chien a Roulettes" 1977

I chose this because I thought it was weird how there is a random robot dog there on the sidewalk.

Getting Destroyed                          Ranceypants
In this picture I am getting smashed by Saad's legs. The background picture was a little dotty so I had to add dots to me and the legs. I added the shadows to match me and the legs.

Photography Composition

Leading Line

My Road                    R.Soper                    2014

Leading Line - A line in a picture that leads your eyes away toward a certain point.

This represents leading line because the road is leading your eyes to look somewhere else. It makes your eyes look somewhere off into the distance.

Vertical

   Neighbors Tree       R.Soper         2014
Vertical – A picture that is taken with more length than width.

This is a vertical picture because it has more length and less width.

Informal Balance
Three Balls                R.Soper                   2014
Informal Balance – A picture that’s not even or barely even.

This photo is showing informal balance because there are three different balls shown. They are all different sizes and all three are different colors.

Angle (Down)
Dude                      R.Soper                      2014
Angle (Down) – When you have a bird’s eye view of the subject.

This photo represents angle (down) because I am above my dog.

Distance (Close)
Ugly Grass                  R.Soper                   2014
Distance (Close) – When you take a picture close up.

This represents distance (close) because the camera is very close to the grass.
