Surealism Photographers

Erik Johansson was born in 1985 outside a small town called Gotene in the middle of Sweeden. In 2005 he moved to Gothenburg to study Computer engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. In 2011 he also started doing photography street illusions.

Max Klinger was born in 1857 and died in 1920. He  was one of the last great artist princes of the late 19th and 20t h centuries. In 1874 he began his studies at the Grand Ducal Baden Art School.

Erik Johansson

Face Fist

2010

Description: Shows a man punching his own face and it is crumbling like a paper bag.

Analysis: The subject is not in the center of the photo which makes it so we focus on it more.

Interpretation: I think he is regretting or trying to forget something that he did.

Judgment: I think that this piece was very successful and was really funny to look at.

Max Klinger

Gloves

1914

Description: Shows a random face with a tennis ball and a pair of gloves.

Analysis: The three subject of the painting are all random things and neither of them are in the center of it.

Interpretation: I think the artist is trying to show that he loves art, that he plays tennis and that he likes to garden.

Judgment: I think it was successful because its funny how it is just a bunch of random things.
